Automatically Dialed Call by TAPI-Support
This function is only available in BINGOOO professional and BINGOOO corporate
If you PC is equipped with a sound card, an ISDN card, a microphone and a TAPI driver, you can call contacts directly from the result table generated by a search with the People agent (in the category Search). By doing this, you can avoid opening other programmes or using offline communication.
TAPI support enables you to dial phone numbers directly out of programmes such as BINGOOO (or Outlook through BINGOOO). TAPI software controls the respective hardware components and guarantees the communication with the telephone network.
Depending on the TAPI driver installed, you can talk directly with another person if he or she has similar equipment (a telephone connected to a ISDN-bus or a headset connected to PC).
How it works:
1. Click on the category Search and then on the agent People.
2. Enter first name and family name in the input fields of the input line and start the query.
3. The agent People nows starts searching for the requested person in various sources, among these your Outlook programme (in BINGOOO professional and BINGOOO corporate).
4. You will get a result table with all data found according to the search terms (name, address, phone and/or mobile number, mail address as found).
5. If you are equipped with the components mentioned above, just click on the desired phone number and the number will be dialed automatically. If your contact is equally equipped, you can now talk.
